NRICH Live - Nurturing Successful Mathematicians

Age 5 to 16

In response to the high demand for these webinars back in June 2020, we repeated this free professional development opportunity for teachers in October 2020.

During the live events, we shared a model which draws together the key ingredients that characterise successful young mathematicians, and suggested ways in which teachers can help learners to explore what it means to be good at maths.

The event for teachers of 11-16 year olds took place on Tuesday 6 October 2020

The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners. To support this aim, members of the NRICH team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing professional development for teachers wishing to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice.

NRICH is part of the family of activities in the Millennium Mathematics Project.
