Maths for Economists Collection

This page is a small collection of advanced-level material from the main NRICH pages which will be of use or interest to those hoping to study economics at university. They are straight mathematics problems but have an economic flavour or application.  

There is a lot of calculus, optimisation, statistics and algebra involved in university economics, so the more comfortable students are thinking about these issues the better.
