Introducing Creativity in the Classroom

Have you seen our Wild Maths site, designed to promote mathematical creativity?

The tasks have been written with the expectation that students might work on the problems on their own outside the classroom. However, there are lots of great ideas that you might want to use in lessons too!

Below you can find collections of NRICH tasks which complement the pathways of connected resources on Wild Maths. These NRICH tasks are accompanied by supporting Teachers' Resources, and are ideal for promoting creativity in the classroom.

The NRICH Project aims to enrich the mathematical experiences of all learners. To support this aim, members of the NRICH team work in a wide range of capacities, including providing professional development for teachers wishing to embed rich mathematical tasks into everyday classroom practice.

NRICH is part of the family of activities in the Millennium Mathematics Project.
